About the Author

Michael S. Evans is the author of Seeking Good Debate. His writing on science, religion, media, politics, and education has appeared in Los Angeles Review of Books, Inside Higher Ed, The Huffington Post, and many academic journals. He earned a PhD in sociology from the University of California, San Diego, and has held research or teaching appointments at Dartmouth College, UC San Diego, and the University of Tokyo.
